A location steeped in aviation heritage and innovation
The Hope Hotel and Richard C. Holbrooke Conference Center was born of the same innovative spirit that permeates the Dayton area where the Wright Brothers invented the first “flying machine.” Named after famed entertainer Bob Hope, it is the only privately owned hotel located on Air Force property.
Opened in 1990, this unique arrangement required an act of Congress to initiate and is primarily designed to house students, retired military personnel and government contractors. Since then we have expanded into business and leisure travel and event markets, offering both military personnel and civilians the opportunity to enjoy a premier hotel in a one-of-a-kind location.
Conveniently situated on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, we have easy street access at Gate 12A on Route 444 – no base pass required. From here, you are just minutes away from sites and attractions that highlight our region’s eclectic blend of Midwest charm, rich aviation history, and the best in shopping and entertainment.
Take a look around. You’re sure to be inspired.
